" am the proud owner of a Cavalier King Charles bitch and was looking for a holiday home for my dog. Rolf Imhof, president of our local breed club, offered to take my little Honeymoon in. He and his wife have 2 Cavaliers, and... 2 Ragdoll cats. So far, Honey had never encountered a cat 'nose to nose', wildly barking at every cat outside. My heart stopped beating when they met for the first time. No problem, said Rolf and opened the family room door. Honey enthusiastically greeted both dog pals and wanted to greet the third one too --- until she realized that this fellow is actually a cat!

A Ragdoll named Indian. Honey stopped just in front of her, but ignored her then and played with the other dogs. The second Ragdoll lay relaxed on the stairs and just watched. Honey accepted the cats like she accepted the dogs. She plays with them, licks their ears, gives kissies - great cats and great dogs met!"

" ust by chance I got a 15 months old altered Ragdoll boy in August 2005. Since then I became quite a fan of this wonderful breed of cats and couldn't imagine a better feline companion. Despite sitting in a wheelchair, I don't have any problems with caring for my Cherry - he is such a sweet, gentle boy and so patient, for example while combing him. Though it took a while until he settled in, he feels totally at home in the meantime.

n January 2006 I started to clicker train him (in my case, clicking with my tongue), interacting with Cherry by positive encouragement. As he is an indoor-only cat, I want to keep him happy and healthy, he should never feel bored. Besides, I noticed quite a few positive changes in him already, especially a much improved self-confidence. But most important - he enjoys it enormously! In the meantime he learned 20 tricks - including a couple of useful things such as going into his carrier by himself. Jumping from one chair to another was one of our first lessons, but he also performs 'shake hands', walking a bar (he manages an one inch bar - what an accomplishment with his large paws!), or he lays on his side on command - soooo cute!"
