"he staircase outside of our apartment was to be repainted. All neighbours chipped in and we did the work together. It turned out rather nicely and we decided not to hang up the old and faded picture of our house again. However, now the spot over the radiator looked too plain. Something new should replace the old airial photo of the house, but what?
I had a brainwave. A cat picture could be painted by a relative of a friend of mine. Besnic Trungu painted little Balu, one of my cats, earlier. I asked him and I think he did a wonderful job.
In the beginning I went into the hallway every few minutes, just to look at it..."
