The Ragdoll Ear-Set
am not a Picasso as you will certainly notice on the following pictures ;-). But I hope my drawings will nevertheless show you that a different ear set or form can completely change a cat's look. So the ears are quite important in the overall appearance of a cat and should be part of the selection criteria for a potential breeder or show cat. The possibility of passing on an unfavorable ear-set to the offspring should not be ignored.
y the way, if you think I made up the somewhat imaginative looking ears - such Ragdolls do exist! An example:

Optimal ears:
medium in size, broad at base and set wide, slight tilt forward, with rounded tips.
(tip of ear tufts seem unimportant to the overall head appearance and need no plucking). |
