lovable cats for lovable people

Our Cattery (pictures)

As soon as they reliably use the litter box and are able to climb (depending on the litter between the 6th or 7th week) they usually sleep with us in bed. Like our adult cats, the kittens are where we are, and they love to watch us doing our household chores - sometimes they "help" us, too...

The kittens are raised in a loving, relaxed atmosphere with no stress. We like to think they are well socialized, very friendly and affectionate. From the very beginning they learn to use the scratching post and get other basic training important for an harmonious life with humans.

Since 1988 we are members of 1. DEKZV (FIFe), the eldest cat association in Germany. So everyone of our kittens gets a pedigree - this is not only a certificate of origin but also an official confirmation that the kittens come from a supervised cattery. A noted association as the 1. DEKZV issues pedigrees only when the breeder observes all stipulated breeding regulations. These rules are for the registered cat's well-being and prevent uncontrolled crossbreedings, defects due to excessive inbreeding or diseases, and ruthless exploitation of the breeders. But I think our own personal breeding rules are even more strict than the rules by any association....

Our kittens don't leave our cattery before they are at least 12 or 13 weeks old. They get dewormed several times and are vaccinated for rhinotracheitis and distemper (other vaccinations on request).
