ur very first Ragdoll,
World Winner 1994 and European Premier
Raggy's Chayene,
seal bicolor,
was our most successful cat so far.
he was Best Bicolor and Best Ragdoll of the very
first Ragdoll Special in 1988, OEVEK's (Austria) "Mrs.
Neuter" 1992 and 1993, became 1. DEKZV's 9th Best
Semilonghair Alter in 1992 with just a few shows, was FIFe's
International Best Ragdoll in 1992 and 1993 and got the FIFe
World Winner title in 1994 at her very last show when she was
7 years old (until 2001 she was the only Ragdoll with
that title). During her show career she achieved 4 - Best in
Variety, 10 - Best in Show Opposite Sex, 4 - Best in Show and
was additionally 4 x nominated for Best in show. Chayene is the very first female Ragdoll worldwide to earn a FIFe European-title.
fter Chayene's retirement from the show
hall, we slowed down our show activity enormously.
Nevertheless we were so lucky to receive several other Best
in Varities and Nominations for our cats, but we won't bore
you with those. There are some other results we are
especially happy about:

Mihit Io Patrice, black/white
n 1998 Patrice was TICA's International 3rd

hough our
RW Ciara's
Jeremy Ellesworth, blue bicolor
is not perfectly marked, he has much
charisma and is very typey (and he has certainly the longest
whiskers far and wide....). It wouldn't have been proper to
show him as "Ragdoll", but there is the so-called
"Household Pet" class in TICA where it is allowed
to show pedigreed cats with smaller or larger faults (note:
the cat must be registered as a Household Pet in TICA). In
the show season 1998/99 Jeremy became Best Household Pet
Kitten in Bue Danube Cat Club, TICA's Best Household Pet
Kitten Germany, and 2nd Best HHPK Region Europe North.

Champion
Ciara's James
Cameron, blue mitted,
at the age of 5 months (4,1 kg or 9 lb).
Actually we had planned to find a nice pet home for him but
then we just could not part with him. He is like a big
teddy bear, a promising and massive boy with relaxed and sweet
temperament. When he was just 4 months old he became Best
Blue Mitted Ragdoll at his very first show (September 1999 in
Munich, incl. Ragdoll Special), was Best in Variety and
nominated for Best in Show. Actually he came back home with a BIV and nomination for BIS from each of his subsequent show weekends. So we had some hopes for a successful show career once he was fully grown and developed. However, when he started in the adult class we noticed that he is not very happy at shows and prefers to stay at home. It is most important to us to only show a cat who feels comfortable in the show hall, so we decided to stop showing him. What a pity, but I suppose Cameron will be grateful forever ;-).

Jonah McKelsey,
seal mitted
t is not only a real pleasure to have this exceptionally sweet and lovable Ragdoll girl from Canada around, but we are very proud that she did so well at an international FIFe-show with tough competition in Liechtenstein, too. At only 7 months old she became Best Kitten 6 - 10 Months, and Best Seal-Mitted Ragdoll in Show (BIV). We are especially happy that she is so easy to show - she has no problems on a long car ride, feels at home in every hotel room and is a real love in the show hall! Well, I suppose with all her purring and kneading in the judging ring, the judges just couldn't help but to award her ;-).
onah's next show (FIFe World Winner show 2001) also was unexpectedly successful. At first we were quite reluctant to enter her for this show. We were a bit afraid that she wouldn't stand a chance as she was just 11 months old. So imagine our delighted surprise when she not only got her first CAC (one of three certificates for her Champion title) but also became the Best Seal Mitted Ragdoll in show (BIV) again, this time from 6 seal mitted Ragdolls (among them males and females just one or two certificates away from their European Champion title). We are very curious to see her further development, however, other shows are not planned at the moment.
European Champion
Ciara's Brandon O'Connor, blue colorpoint
onnor is one of the few Ragdolls from our cattery who went as a breeder into his new home. His new "mom" is Lilo Durand from Purrific cattery. He was a little "thank you" for her friendship of many years and her continual support of my breeding plans.
hanks to Lilo, Connor is able to look back to a great show career. He received his last certificate for the European Champion title in October 2002 when he was 3 years old, so he is the very first German Colorpoint Ragdoll with a FIFe-European title! Whenever he had competition in his color, he *always* won and became "Best in Variety" (BIV). Usually it is more difficult for a Colorpoint Ragdoll at a show than for a Bicolor with her special markings. However, Connor was 8 x nominated for Best in Show on his way to the European Champion (very often he beat quite a few beautiful males from other breeds when the judges nominated him).
