Ragdolls with a FIFe-World Winner Title
ne of the highlights of the FIFe-show circuit is certainly the annual World Winner show held once a year, always in a different FIFe-country. To emphasize the importance of the WW-show, no other FIFe-shows are organized in Europe on this weekend. Just countries with quarantine regulations such as certain Scandinavian countries have their own competition similar to the WW-show.
t is not so easy to win a WW-title as there are many very successful and beautiful cats of all FIFe-recognized breeds shown there. It is quite normal for 1000 cats or more to be entered in this show. Ragdolls compete in the Semilonghair category with Birmans, Maine Coons, Norwegian Forests, Siberians, Turkish Angoras, and Turkish Vans.
t seems there is some truth in the saying "The longer you wait the better a Ragdoll looks", as the first two Ragdolls were already 7 or 8 years old respectively when they got their WW-title :-). Ragdoll history was made in 2002 when *two* Ragdolls won the WW title that year! The WW show 2003 was special too, when the judges chose the first non-bicolor Ragdoll - a blue colorpoint kitten - to be among the final winners!

nfortunately no WW-title for Ragdolls in 2004. However, there is a loooong article on the WW show in Vienna with pictures of *all* exhibited Ragdolls and lots of other show pictures.
fter a year's break of no WW title for Ragdolls there are again 2 World Winner Ragdolls in 2005!!! :-). And another special note: Tiara is already "2nd generation World Winner"... as her father Jackie Chan won the title in 2003!
