lovable cats for

ue to her unique markings, a
Bicolor Ragdoll cannot easily be mistaken for another breed.
Though on a cursory glance, there is indeed a certain
resemblance between Mitted Ragdoll and Birman or Colorpoint
Ragdoll and Himalayan/Persian Colorpoint. But when you take a
more thorough look, you will see that the Ragdoll is truly an
unique breed which has not much in common with other breeds.
Ragdoll: white
chin; a white belly stripe from the bib down the
underside between the forelegs to under the base of the
tail; entirely white boots on back legs, extending no
shorter than heels, and no higher than mid-thigh. With or
without white stripe (blaze) on nose
Birman: no white on chin, face, chest or stomach allowed;
white gloves, the so-called "laces" on back
paws, extending straight up back of legs, ending in a
point approximately half-way up hock
The Ragdoll's and Birman's
only common feature:

deally, the Mitted's back legs should show no trace of
pointcolor at all, like this
4 week old blue mitted kitten
with boots extending exactly to heel. Unfortunately this
picture is not very good and we have sold this kitten as
pet already. But maybe we will be able to take a detailed
photo of her boots when she is a bit older

Genetics (white spottings)
Ragdoll:
the breeding of two Mitted Ragdolls can
result in all three Ragdoll patterns - Bicolor, Mitted,
Colorpoint
Birman: the
breeding of two Birmans only results in typical Birman
markings (pet quality kittens might show a bit more or less
white than required, but real colorpoint or bicolor markings
are not to be expected)
